Head of HR, Research & Innovation
Elizabeth is Head of HR and Research & Innovation at Stride Treglown, one of the UK’s top 10 architectural practices. Elizabeth started the team 13 years ago and has built the culture of Strides and a motivated workforce where 83% of the team are engaged or highly engaged (compared to the average 38%) and the first firm in the UK to hold all 8 areas of the Workplace Wellbeing Charter.
Elizabeth founded the group Behaviours4Collaboration which is a partner to the BIM task force and focussed in the development of a culture of collaboration in construction. The group developed a tool called the Collaborative Behavioural Map which describes what it is to collaborate and this is going to be developed as British Standard to sit alongside BS11000.
She contributed to the Digital Built Britain agenda through contribution to the 2014 strategy and was seconded to the Digital Built Britain program as cultural lead looking at the strategies we can employ to adopt digitisation and collaborative working in our sector.
A certified strengths-based and career coach and university lecturer she also enjoys working with charities including her most recent role as Non-Exec Director of Oasis Talk.
